Key Leaders

Company Commander
c/CPT Destiny Barker


Duties: To maintain the health and welfare of all cadets in Headquarters Company; coordinating with the Headquarters Company First Sergeant to distribute information throughout Headquarters Company and coordinate with the CSM to execute enlisted promotions as necessary; responsible of all of what the company does.

Company XO
c/2LT Nathan Esquibel

Duties: To assist the Company Commander in the training of the company, to perform such administrative duties as designated by the Company Commander, to be well versed in all functions of the command and to be prepared to assume command during the absence of the Company Commander.

Company First Sergeant
c/1SG Michael Hyatt


Duties: Responsible for all enlisted personnel in Headquarters Company and being the principal advisor to the Headquarters Company Commander on states of morale, discipline, and training of cadets within Headquarters Company.

Platoon Leader

Duties: To organize and maintain an effective chain of command in the platoon, to utilize chain of command to accomplish all assigned tasks, to conduct a short inspection of the platoon at each formation, to enforce all orders and instructions from the Company Commander, to have a thorough knowledge of all phases of drill and ceremonies (TC 3-21.5), and to make recommendations to the Company Commander as to disciplinary problems, promotions and reductions.

Platoon Sergeant
c/SSG Madeline Vaguolo

Duties: To enforce the orders and instructions of the Platoon Leader, to supervise the Squad Leader’s inspection at formations, to ensure the Squad Leaders inspect their squads as to uniform fit, cleanliness and condition, to form the Platoon in the prescribed area at the appointed time, to know and follow correct procedures for forming the platoon and receiving the report from Squad Leaders, to be prepared to assume command of the Platoon in the absence of the Platoon Leader, and to ensure that the cadets' uniform is ready for inspection.
